Interested in sending a survey?

Kalamazoo College students, faculty, and staff must submit a scheduling request to survey a large campus cohort such as all first-year students, all employees, etc. To get started, review the survey schedule and complete the survey scheduling request form. Only surveys approved through this process may be sent to large campus cohorts, and approval allows survey administrators to access email lists and send Hornet Hive announcements.

Note: This survey scheduling request form should not be used by students or faculty surveying students in their courses as part of a class assignment or for course or program improvement.

Survey Schedule

Survey response rates have been decreasing at Kalamazoo College in recent years as the number of surveys has increased. This is problematic because campus surveys are often designed to better understand and improve the K experience, but a certain sample size is required to make informed decisions, and some recent surveys have failed to meet that threshold. In an effort to reduce survey response frequency and burden and increase response rates, we ask that requesters review the schedule of planned surveys to better select a preferred/planned survey date. This survey scheduling request form should be used by any student, faculty, or staff member planning to send a survey to a large campus cohort (for example, all students, all first-year students, or all employees).
